About the kids: Blake is 13 in the National Honor Society and getting ready to start High School. Clay is 8 and a big Yu-Gi-O card collector.

What Marty does for work: I worked for Publix for several years before leaving for the Navy. I will retire from there in 2 years and let my stenographer wife support me.

What Marty does for fun: Run my son's Cub Scout Pack, camping in the RV, and riding my Goldwing motorcycle.

What Marty remembers most about Mel High: DECA in 12th grade, going to state with Annette Carter, Scott Brubaker, Tammy Wafford, Marsha Moore, and several others in Mr. Greene's class and getting wild.

Marty also wanted you to know: I survived a rough motorcycle accident and cancer, married to my wonderful wife for 14 years, won a Harley on the radio then upgraded to a Honda.
